Waves: Icosahedron (Meenakshi Mukerji) - from double foil

I thought this might make a nice Christmas decoration, so folded the model again - this time using foil. It's a cheap craft paper that's available here in Germany: a sandwich of foil, paper, foil. It's not that easy to work with and you very quickly see breaks in the foil, and thus the white paper that's in the middle. Still, I do like the effect of using foil.

Paper: 30 sheets of double foil (foil-paper-foil), 3.9cm by 11.7cm
Model: Sphere with a diameter of 8cm

Review of the paper used:

I may not be the biggest fan of modular origami, but isn't this a true beauty? I love the simple elegance of this model.
Wondering which model I'll feature in my next instructional video? Take a lucky guess. :)

Paper: 30 sheets of Tant, 5cm by 15cm
