Paper the World is a humble little project dedicated to spreading simple origami of models that focus on endangered animal species. There are other purposes to this endeavour but primarily it is to educate and teach some charming origami animal figures to children so that they can enjoy the art and creativity of folding paper and making beautiful things from such common material.

Notably, the site features both video instructions and pdf diagrams for models from some fantastic designers: Nick Robinson, Joseph Wu, Giang Dinh, Román Díaz, Nicolas Terry, Eric Joisel, and Quentin Trollip.

So, inform yourself about endangered species, have a bit fun with folding some super animal models, and spread the word about it. Oh, as to folding - why not use recycled paper? And for test folds, paper with notes scribbled on will also do. That's sure what I do!
