Adams-Eagle.pdf
Eagle by Sara AdamsThis is my first attempt at designing. I tried to create an eagle in no more than 30 folds that still captures the essence of Hung Cuong Nguyen's eagle (2008).
Designed and diagrammed by Sara Adams (August 2009)
Sonobe-Primula.pdf
Primula by Mitonobu SonobeThis is my first attempt to diagram an origami model. After quite some research I've come to the conclusion that the model was designed by Mitsonobu Sonobe, and is called "Sakuraso" (primrose, primula).

Nolan-Andreas_Rose-CP.pdf
Andrea's Rose by JC NolanThis is the crease pattern for JC Nolan's Andrea's Rose. There's an instructional video available here, but I think looking at crease patterns is intriguing. JC wrote about the crease pattern:
The basic crease pattern shows up after the first level of sinks. For the second level it rotates 45 degrees and reduces by sqrt(2)/2 (to about 72.5%) and superimposes on the first. From then on it's easy, as this combined pattern simply reduces 50% each iteration and superimposes on the previous.
