Card Making: Happy Birthday

Now to something totally different...
I recently discovered Kristina Werner's videos at http://www.kwernerde... and have been watching them, fascinated. And you can't help but feel inspired to try and make your own card! This was my first attempt. Not to shabby, I think.
I haven't really bought any supplies for this, but just checked what paper I had lying around. And you may know: paper is something I have quite a bit of!
Actually, I rarely fold from patterned paper, but get it once in a while (mostly presents). So that means I have more patterned paper than I will ever fold away. (Hm, probably true for all my other paper, too...) So using some of my paper for making cards seems like a good new way to put my paper obsession to use - or explain why I still need to buy more paper (even though I'm sure I've got more than a life's worth already).
