Today, I cut two hexagons from the same patterned paper (kaleidoscopic paper by Julia Schönhuber), but at different angles. The pattern I used is called "Sommer 2".
I then folded the same model from the two hexagons. Look at the difference in appearance!
Paper: 49 square sheets of washi with a side length of 5.8 cm
Models: wingspan of 4 cm, height of 3 cm
I like to add a small fold when I send people something. So for my 10-year YouTube anniversary giveaway, I folded 50 butterflies (as there were 50 prizes). Only 49 butterflies are shown in this photo, simply because it was easier to fit 49 in the frame. :)
