Origami Time Lapse: Spread Hexagons (Eric Gjerde)

Paper used in this video: Elephant Hide
Coloring done with: Acrylic metallic gold (http://goo.gl/qZszLy), aquarelle pencils (http://goo.gl/hNQ331)
Cut hexagon: side length of 10.5 cm (4 1/8 in)
Finished model: diameter of 10.5 cm (4 1/8 in)

What a beautiful result Sara! I'm intrigued by the hexagon template you used to mark out the paper. It must be very useful. Is it made of metal? Did you make it yourself or can you buy them?

The one I used in the video was custom cut, but Carmen Sprung sells some great sets here: http://www.origamise... - the site's in German, but should be quite self-explanatory. -- Sara
