I thought it might be fun to start taking pictures of people I meet at conventions. Here's Paul Hassenforder and the hat I folded during one of his workshops.

oh I'd love to make that! I think I can reverse engineer it from all the photos of his work that I have come across.
I wonder how the back looks, is it end to end? is there an overlap? I am curious as to how the round-about is accomplished.
I also suspect there is a foundation piece on the band at the bottom of the hat...
Sara, do you happen to know what paper you used? I know I have come across this paper before. It's a stretchy tissue paper I presume.

ok so I find out that it is kraft paper. im guessing wet-folding was used.
