Difficulty Level:
Simple
Model type:

Flowers & Plants
Modular
Paper ratio:
Square
Convention:
Krystyna taught this model at the CDO Convention 2009. The modules are as simple as you could imagine: fold a square in half diagonally, then twirl in the right places - fold a couple, and assemble. There's some skill to making nice twirls, of course, and when you watch Krystyna make twirls it becomes painfully aware how bad you are yourself at making them. Still, it was a fun model to make, and I absolutely love the look of the twirls. Even my first try at it, as seen on the picture, didn't turn out too badly.

lot of thanks to the designer and Happytholding. i make one like it by myself - 8 folded squares twirled together. The result is absolutely beautiful. i think that is the most beautiful paper blossom i have ever seen.

Similar
This works quite similar to the 10 module "Just Twist" model. Start with a square instead, fold it in half, and curl the two top corners to the right and left.
