Paper: 30 squares with a side length of 5 cm (2 in), 60 rectangles with a dimension of 5 cm by 2.5 cm (2 in by 1 in)
Model: diameter of 7 cm (2 3/4 in)
To achieve this version, I folded 30 white Sonobe modules, 30 blue striped embellishment modules of the first kind, and 30 red striped embellishment modules of the third kind. Put them all together and you get your striped Sonobe module!

Review of the paper used:
I figured it'd be nice to let you see what happens after a fold is finished and before the model is actually ready: shaping.
Here I used clips to secure crucial parts of the model and then spritzed it with quite a bit of water. Once the paper had dried, I removed the clips again and voila!
