Ancient Dragon (Satoshi Kamiya): First Fold (Front View)

Designer:

This is the fourth time I attempted the model, and the first time I completed it. All the other times I faulted the paper (and just possibly a bit my folding ability) for the failure. This time I made some double tissue, which is one of the recommended paper choices for the model. And indeed I succeeded in completing the model. It might not be the tidiest fold, but I am still happy that I managed to complete it this time round. Also see a picture of the back view.

Paper: 48cm square of double tissue

Rose (Brian Chan)

This picture shows two first-tries.
I made tissue foil using white glue for the first time. The picture shows both sheets I made, one of them I used for my first fold of Brian Chan's rose.

Making tissue foil
I'd tried making tissue foil with spray glue before, which - even when doing it outside - smelled quite toxic. I think I also chose the wrong spray glue back then, which resulted in tissue foil that was too thick and the glue lumped when you creased the paper.

Eagle (Nguyen Hung Cuong)

Paper: 48cm square of double tissue, glued together with MC
Finished model: wingspan 22cm, body length 12.5cm

I recently made double tissue for the first time, and this is the first model I folded from that paper. Rudolf (http://www.faltkunst.de) had also challenged me: who would fold this eagle first? One week later, and I'm done. Rudolf, what's your status on the eagle?

It's my first fold of the eagle, and it's not as tidy as I'd like, but I'm happy that I managed to complete it.
