I mentioned how hard it was to assemble the the star kusudama. Well, this one has a really strong locking mechanism. :) I didn't even once play with the thought of using clips as an aid, let alone glue 2 or 3 units in.

Great! Glad it worked out nicely. Do you know why it is called Wedge Pockets?

Each unit consists of two modules. The base module is of type II. The face module can then be varied to get different effects. For this one the face module has two pockets, which look a bit like a wedge. You can see them in the picture, too. Locate the golden rhombi. Adjacent are two golden wedges (top left, bottom right when looking at an upright rhombus), and two green "wedges". Only the golden ones are pockets, and those are the ones I believe named the "wedge pockets" module.
